How to Raise a Complaint

Last updated: October 2026

We want every homeowner who reaches Selloption Plumbing to be treated fairly and honestly. If something went wrong, please let us know. This page shows how to complain and what happens afterward. It is a general template, not legal advice.

What You Can Tell Us About

You are welcome to write to us about:

  • Your experience when calling or contacting Selloption Plumbing
  • How your personal information was handled
  • Anything on this website that seems unclear or wrong
  • The conduct of a plumber we connected you with

When the Problem Is a Provider

Plumbers in our network are independent businesses. Each one is responsible for its own estimates, pricing, work and customer service. If you are unhappy with work in your home, the usual first step is to raise it with the plumber directly and keep a written record.

We still want to hear about it. Feedback on providers helps keep our network honest, and a provider who repeatedly falls short of what we expect may be removed. Please know that Selloption Plumbing cannot settle contract disputes, refund money for a provider's work, or decide anything on a provider's behalf.

Sending Your Complaint

Email contact@selloption.garden and include:

  • Your name and how we can reach you
  • The date you contacted us or the plumber
  • The phone number you called or the form you used, if you remember
  • The provider's name, if you know it
  • A clear account of what happened and what outcome you hope for

After You Write

We will confirm receipt by email, usually within a few business days. Then we will look into what happened, which may mean contacting the provider. Afterward we will write back with what we found and any steps we are taking.

If You Are Still Unhappy

If our reply does not satisfy you, answer it and ask us to take another look. You can also contact your state's consumer protection office or attorney general, or your local Better Business Bureau. For problems with plumbing work itself, a state or local plumbing licensing board may be able to help.
